We are thankful to have found Joel when we decided to consider the possibility of buying a vacation home on Lake Minnetonka. We do not believe that there is anyone more knowledgeable about the area and the real estate market for that area than Joel. He not only found exactly what we were looking for but also worked with us to get some systems upgraded without cost to us as well as put us in touch with area craftsmen for future home improvement projects. We would highly recommend using Joel to our friends and family.

Joel helped me sell my rental property near Lake Minnetonka. We encountered some unexpected challenges with a pipe breaking and extensive damage two weeks prior to closing. Joel was masterful in working with me and the buyer to close the sale on the original date. I recommended Joel to my parents for the sale of their home and he did an awesome job on that sale as well. Joel has is simply the best I wouldn't use anyone else in the Lake Mtka area.

I wish I could have paid you more. You were worth every penny!! Having retired from 30 successful years selling Real Estate, it was a hard decision to sign that listing agreement, when I felt I could do it myself and save the commission. Joel, I now know there are very few Realtors (including me) that could have: 1. Known how to price the house in this difficult market. Your knowledge of the market in this area you so "diligently" farm brought a price much higher than I expected. 2. Timing the listing to the best date for my house and area so I was spared the hassle of useless showings. 3. Getting thru two offers with your negotiable skills, knowledge of financing by different institutions, astuteness of the present market and people's motivations got the final high price (few strings attached) offer! 4. AFTER the SALE before the CLOSING. What a minefield! Again your previous experience of what to remedy and how to navigate the "inspections" leading to a successful trouble free closing. 5. Had the office staff that has the people skills yours does. They were wonderful! 6. Last but by far not least. Your hard work! Honestly, I had no idea of the time you must devote to the listing. Updating the signs in a timely fashion, open houses for Realtors and the public, internet ads, regular reports to me on the market: my listing activity and showing feedback, checking in by phone to encourage me and easing my contant fears, and the great neighborhood information book I know was very much looked at. So I want to thank you for selling my house at the price you suggested and in the time frame you said it would happen.

When the time came to sell our mother's house we knew Joel would be our realtor, knowing his reputation in the Lake Minnetonka area. From the day I signed the Sellers agreement to the day I signed the Purchase Agreement, Joel kept us informed of all the details every step of the way to closing. I have known Joel Hentges for over 27 years. I met him when we purchased land in the city of Shorewood and began building a home. Joel was very familiar with the area, having grown up in the area.
