Arctic Fever is sweeping the Lake Minnetonka area once again! This annual celebration of snow brings a flurry of family-friendly activities to Excelsior's surrounding neighborhoods. For the last 14 years, Arctic Fever has delighted locals and visitors throughout Minnesota, celebrating winter fun with food, festivities, and outdoor fun!

In 2006, the cities of Tonka Bay, Shorewood and Excelsior came together to host an event that encouraged locals to get active outdoors despite the cold weather. Each year, this free Arctic Fever festival continues to grow by adding new activities and attractions to the schedule of events. Arctic Fever 2020 takes place between January 16th and 19th this year and we invite you to join us for these exciting events!

Thursday, January 16, 2020, 5:30 PM – 8 PM

• Paint 'n Sip with Art Via Vino — Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge 3746 Sunset Drive, Spring Park, MN 55384
  Create your own winter wonderland scene while warming up from the cold outside at this Art Via Vino annual event. Register for this Paint 'n Sip party at Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge and paint 'Big Piney Pass' for you to hang in your own home.

Friday, January 17, 2020, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

• Pizza Party & Artic Bowling — Country Club Lanes 5601 Manitou Road (CR 19), Tonka Bay, MN 55331
  What makes an evening of bowling even better? Free pizza, beer, and chair massages! • Excelsior Events — Downtown Excelsior 337 Water St. & 421 Third St., Excelsior, MN 55331 | 10:30 AM – 11 PM 
  The highlight of the day is the family ice fishing event. If you've never ice fished before, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how to safely fish on one of Minnesota's many frozen lakes. There will also be a magic show and wagon rides around the city. You're also invited to check out the Excelsior Brew Party and Fat Tire Race presented by Excelsior Brewing Company and Erick's Bike Shop. Proceeds from this $10 race will go towards the Minnetonka Mountain Bike Team.

• Hero's and Heroine's Super Brunch — Oak Ridge Event Center 1 Oakridge Drive, Chaska, MN 55318
