Excelsior Parks and Trails - Homes by Joel

One of the benefits of running is that free "gyms" are available all around Excelsior. Get ready for spring and summer 5Ks and marathons with some training runs at these great local trails.

  • Lake Minnetonka Regional Park - 4610 County Road 44, Minnetrista, MN 55331
    The "purifying" powers of its waters were a legendary reference in Purple Rain, but there's no doubt about the inspiring beauty of Lake Minnetonka Regional Park, just minutes from Minnetrista homes for sale. See the various parts of the park along 3.5 miles of trails that also connect to community trails. Leashed dogs are allowed on paved paths, so bring Fido along for company. No fees are charged for use of the trails. Park hours are 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.
